Exposure to our hazardous environment for a long time causes conspicuous and usually unchangeable effects. These effects include blemishes, scars, allergies, burns and others that can either be short term or long term.

Our skin has its own stage of development and protection. When we were still babies, we definitely have healthy-glowing, blemish-free skin. But as we advance in our age, the smoothness and the glow of our skin deteriorates; thus, our skin becomes damaged which further leads to skin aging.

During the stage of puberty, our body and skin undergoes different changes. Teenagers experienced increased hormone production. As a result, their body actively transforms itself and changes in the skin might also exist. At this stage, the active hormones trigger the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. This over production of oil then leads to the development of acne, which ranges from mild to severe. This acne will then lead to damaged skin and may even frustrate the person who has it. This is also true to many adults. When people develop acne and it becomes untreated, this leads to unevenly textured and toned skin. It is also a cause of premature skin aging.

There are many available anti-aging skin care products in the market today. And many are available over the counter. Here are some <a onClick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(‘/outgoing/article_exit_link’);” href=”http://skincareproductsreport.com”>anti-aging skin care</a> tips you have to consider to keep your skin flawless and healthy:

-          Avoid eating junk foods and processed foods and have regular exercise. These types of foods are full of chemicals which are not beneficial and are detrimental to your health. These chemicals may increase the production of oil in your body which can trigger your acne to develop. It can cause your skin to develop break ups which can lead to damaged skin. Regular exercise will also keep your body’s natural process. It will help you sweat out the toxins inside your body.

-          Have regular skin exfoliation. You can exfoliate your skin with the use of mechanical exfoliants like scrubs and loofahs. You can also make use of chemical exfoliants like creams, lotions, gels and others. By doing this, you avoid the development of skin break ups; and you remove dead skin cells and keep them from building up.

-          Keep your skin protected under the sun. Always apply sun block creams or UV protection lotions when you go out. Over exposure to the sun can damage your skin a lot. So keep yourself protected always.

When have already considered the above tips you will surely have a healthy skin. Aside from that, you should also apply <a onClick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(‘/outgoing/article_exit_link’);” href=”http://skincareproductsreport.com”>anti-aging skin care treatment</a> to keep fight the signs of aging and avoid the harmful effects of the environment.

A cellulite massage is similar to other types of massages except for one thing; its purpose. The purpose of cellulite reduction massage is to remove cellulite while the purpose of a therapeutic massage is to provide relaxation.

Reduce cellulite vs. relaxation with massage

Massaging the body to reduce cellulite means that massage and pressure is applied to certain areas and skin of the body whereas a relaxation massage focuses on the whole body to maximize comfort in all areas. A cellulite reduction massage is harder and more intense and can leave minor bruises on the skin.

Can Massage really reduce cellulite?

Most people are skeptical that a massage will reduce cellulite because you will not see an instant reduction in fat on the outside of the body. People should realize that the positive effects of a cellulite massage come from deep within. The effect starts with a stimulation of circulation, lymphatic drainage, and blood flow. As the massage gets more intense, the effect also increases. Over time, increased circulation and blood flow will make the cellulite harder to stay in some areas of the body. Eventually this will lead the cellulite to stay away from areas that have been massaged.

Obviously, it’s not easy to remove cellulite in the first stages of the massage. Even after several massage sessions, only slight differences will be seen. This is why it’s very important to be active in physical activities in addition to getting these massages. Without regular physical activity, cellulite will stay in certain areas of the body.

A lot of innovative skin care products have been constantly produced to help people have flawless, healthy skin. These products boast of their well formulated solutions that combine natural ingredients and substances that can enhance your skin’s natural production of cells and oils.

One of the most helpful substances that help in making the skin blemish-free and healthy is Vitamin C, otherwise known as Ascorbic Acid.

Cellex C skin care has an inventive formula with vitamin C that helps reduce the effects and signs of aging and safeguards the skin from damage caused by harmful chemicals and conditions in the environment. It also prevents you from developing early skin maturation.

The incorporation of vitamin C to skin care products is really helpful and beneficial in keeping the skin healthy and flawless. Let us consider some of the significance of vitamin C for your skin.

Vitamin C helps in the synthesis of collagen. Sufficient supply and intake of vitamin C is needed to keep the collagen in your skin compact. It also aids in your skin and gums’ faster healing. People who have deficiency in Vitamin C experience scurvy. This condition is characterized by poor healing of the wounds and usual bleeding of gums. The best way to cure this is to make sure that vitamin C is present in the body and it is sufficient.

Another important feature and use of vitamin C is it an effective antioxidant. It helps fight the effects and signs of skin damage which causes wrinkles and premature skin aging. Vitamin C helps prevent the effects of skin aging through helping in the elimination of harmful free radicals in the body.

Because of these advantageous outcomes, Cellex C skin care takes into account your body’s sufficient vitamin C supply. It makes use of the L-ascorbic acid form of vitamin C which is volatile and can be easily broken down. Due to this quality, it is somewhat difficult to produce for cosmetic products. Ascorbyl palmitate, a common fat soluble derivative of vitamin C is also used. Aside from being more stable, it is also known to be less irritating than ascorbic acid.

Cellex C offers a wide variety of skin care products which include exfoliants, moisturizers, treatments and cleansers that helps fight the cause of premature skin aging and it also aids in providing a younger, healthy-looking skin. Cellex C skin care makes sure that it does not only provide good and innovative skin care remedies and products but it also considers the skin’s need and protection.

Acne Rosacea Treatment

A Dermatologist can help you determine a treatment for Acne Rosacea that works for you.
Although the scientific and medical communities have not been able to pinpoint the exact causes of acne Rosacea, the “prime suspects” to susceptibility have been identified.

1) Fair Skin
2) Middle Aged
3) Genetic predisposition.

Whether or not you fall into these categories are of no consequence if you are seeking to rid yourself of this frustrating condition.  Don’t lose hope.  If you are suffering from acne Rosacea,  there are numerous effective  treatment options both traditional and alternative that you can discuss with your dermatologist and begin your course of action today.

First… the most common treatment approach your dermatologist will take will be to prescribe Antibiotics as the first line of attack in acne Rosacea treatment.

For your information, common oral antibiotics are:

Antibiotics for rosacea

Examples

Oral antibiotics

Generic Name Brand Name doxycycline Doryx, Oracea, Vibramycin erythromycin E-Mycin minocycline Minocin tetracycline Bristacycline, Sumycin trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole Bactrim, Septra

Topical antibiotics

Generic Name Brand Name metronidazole MetroCream 0.75%, MetroGel, Noritate 1%

These antibiotics are prescribed to reduce skin inflammation overall. They may also actually reduce the number of pimples as well as the amount of redness around the pimples.

Retin A ™ (Tretinoin) is a topical form of vitamin A that basically helps the skin renew itself.  Retin A is the most commonly prescribed topical cream or gel that is used to treat mild to moderately severe acne, and is especially effective for those with comedonal acne (many blackheads and whiteheads). Retin-A is available by prescription only in cream or gel form and is also known as Retin-A Micro, Avita, Renova, and generic tretinoin.
Retin-A has developed quite a following among acne sufferers and has become, for many, the treatment of choice.  This is due to its other advantageous uses and benefits such as the ability to reduce the look of dark spots, discoloration and the ability to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Alternative Solutions for Acne Rosacea Treatment
Diet can help control acne Rosacea.
Studies have shown that Azelaic acid has demonstrated clinical effectiveness in treating acne Rosacea.  Azelaic is an antibacterial agent with anti- inflammation properties commonly used for the treatment of various skin conditions, including acne and rosacea.  Azelaic acid topical treatments come in a cream (20% of the acid), or the gel, (15% of the acid) but are also found naturally in wheat, rye and barley.

Herbal acne Rosacea treatments as well as blood cleansers in particular can be extremely effective.  Again, there is as yet no scientific proof as to how effective these herbal remedies are but many sufferers swear by these remedies including burdock root and red clover blossoms and cleavers.  These tonic herbs have been used throughout history to treat skin conditions.
Vitamin B complex is the treatment of choice for many acne rosacea sufferers although this could be misguided.  According to a paper by Lit-Hung Leung, M.D. published in 1997 titled “Pantothenic Acid in the Treatment of Acne Vulgaris”
He states, “there are reports showing that acne may be induced by administration of large doses of vitamin B12 alone or in combination with B6. Cessation of the administration of these vitamins will bring a halt to the acne eruptions.”

Another “home” remedy for treating acne rosacea has been sun exposure. Although a limited amount of sun exposure may improve the appearance acne, most dermatological professionals will caution against using sun exposure as a way to treat acne due to the many negative effects to overexposure.  The short term benefit may have many long term detrimental effects.
The most common short-term effect of unprotected exposure to UV rays of the sun is sunburn which will increase your risk of developing skin cancer.  In fact, any UV exposure can cause long term damage to the skin including premature changes to the skin such as:

* Loss of elasticity
* Wrinkles
* Age spots
* Actinic keratoses (rough, scaly spots that can sometimes lead to cancer)

In the case of sun exposure for treatment of acne rosacea, BE CAREFUL — the cure may be worse than the disease.

Are you frustrated by all the information about the best natural skin care oils? With so many it can be hard to find your way to the very best, but once you know what to look for, its becomes a much simpler task.

With the majority of today’s beauty care being packed full of chemicals and very little natural skin care oils, you need to pay careful attention to the labels to avoid these chemicals which include mineral oil, parabens and fragrances.

Some of the best oils are those you may be familiar with like Grapeseed, Avocado and Macadamia.

Avocado Oil is deeply hydrating and highly compatible with your skin’s own oils. It is also scientifically-proven to stimulate collagen production to make it look smoother and younger.

Macadamia is a luxurious oil, which is easily absorbed into the skin and is proven to protect the cells from aging.  It also has an unsurpassed ability to penetrate any damaged areas, replenishing oils lost during the day and contains palmitoleic acid, an essential oil which has long been known to be beneficial

One of the more common natural skin care oils is Grapeseed, being a powerful antioxidant and also creates an invisible film to keep moisture in.

It is especially effective for repairing the skin around the eyes and has also been shown to reduce stretch marks too. It is rich in linoleic acid and several other essential oils which are necessary for skin health, and it also contains natural vitamin E.

Lastly on my list and by no means least is Babassu oil which is light and natural and leaves your skin soft and smooth. It comes from the kernel of the fruit of the Babassu palm, which grows in the Amazon region of Brazil and has been used for centuries to soothe the skin.

This wonderful natural skin care oil is great for an oily or dry complexion as it moisturizes without making your skin greasy.

So there you have it, a guide to my favourite natural skin care oils that will not only result in beautiful healthy and younger-looking skin, but also promote your overall health and well-being too.

The hardest part about using a best selling natural skin care moisturizer is finding it! It seems everything these days is called bestselling and can be very misleading. The ingredients however will give you a clue as to whether it is good or not.

Unfortunately, the majority on the market today contain mineral oil (paraffin wax, petrolatum), parabens (methyl, propyl) and fragrances which could be any number of thousands of chemicals are present, and also dioxane, known to the state of California to cause cancer.

The best selling natural skin care moisturizer should contain only natural ingredients free from any harmful chemicals.

Mineral oil, which is present in most creams today, is one of the worst offenders, clogging up the pores and irritating the skin by not allowing it to safely eliminate the toxins. This can lead to more serious health issues with long term use.

Now for what it should contain to properly look after your skin in a sustainable way rather than the quick fixes that are so common.

Cynergy TK is an outstanding ingredient and a natural extract from New Zealand sheep’s wool.

In studies it showed a sustained 14% improvement in skin moisture retention over 18 days and a sustained improvement in skin elasticity of 42% over 18 days.

Other great ingredients too like Phytessence wakame from Japanese sea kelp, Babassu wax from the Amazon jungle and natural oils like Avocado, Grapeseed and Jojoba all combine to improve the look and texture of your skin, leaving it soft, supple and younger-looking.

In addition they will promote your overall health and boost your immune system such is their healing power.

These are what the best selling natural skin care moisturizer should contain.

Glycolic acid is the most active and beneficial form of alpha hydroxy acid. A natural derivative of sugar cane, glycolic acid has amazing exfoliating properties and is used extensively in skin care products. Popular sources of glycolic acid include the citric acid of lemon, orange and grapefruit extracts.

Skin Care Benefits of Glycolic Acid

Glycolic acid acts as a natural exfoliator to the skin and scrapes dead skin cells. Moreover, it eliminates the bacteria within the skin pores and controls acne inflammations and blemishes. It also opens up the skin pores in order to improve the penetrating power of skin care products. In addition to all this, glycolic acid also helps to bring natural moisture to the surface of the skin.

Working of Glycolic Acid

Glycolic acid penetrates efficiently through the walls of the skin cells because of its small molecular size. When it enters the cell, it stimulates the formation of new collagen and triggers off the synthesis process of dermal glycosaminoglycans. This in turn plumps up the cells and causes reduction in wrinkles and fine lines.

It also affects the keratin cells that lie at the bottom of the stratum corneum and cause them to lift and get separated. This is how it exfoliates the dead skin layers and separates it from the underlying skin and reveals fresh new cells from underneath. As a result, the skin becomes smooth and supple.

Skin Care Products with Glycolic Acid

Unlike other alpha hydroxy acids, glycolic acid works well in a complete skin care regimen. It is used extensively in a variety of skin care products like cleansers, moisturizers and other skin treatments. Glycolic acid rejuvenates the skin and keeps it refreshed and moisturized.

Product Suggestions

La Roche-Posay Biomedic LHA Serum
It is an amazing serum used to exfoliate the skin and to reduce fine lines, spots, and small scars. It can be used either as a pre & post peel treatment or as a toner or exfoliator. The serum also helps to control acne. It contains several exfoliating agents like glycolic acid that helps to prepare the skin for the LHA-PEEL and enhance peel results. It eliminates dead cells from the skin’s surface and corrects rough skin and brightens the skin’s complexion.

iS Clinical Active Serum
This is a highly concentrated serum that improves the skin texture and pigmentation very efficiently. Being anti-acneic, it controls acne inflammations and blemishes and is a great choice for patients dealing with both aging skin and oily acneic skin.

iS Clinical Poly-Vitamin Serum

This serum regenerates the skin, hydrates it and provides essential vitamins, bionutrients and antioxidants to improve many unwanted skin problems. It also increases the micro-circulation of the skin to fight free radicals and provide nutrients to compromised skin. It contains Sugar Cane (Glycolic acid), Bilberry, hyaluronate and green tea to hydrate and regenerate the skin.

La Roche-Posay Biomedic Purifying Cleanser

It is a mild Glycolic Cleanser that unclogs skin pores to remove make up and other environmental pollutants deep within the skin and helps improve tone and texture. It contains Glycolic acid for exfoliation, Tocopheryl acetate as a vitamin E antioxidant and PEG-30 glycerol cocoate as a conditioning agent.

Results of Glycolic Acid Products

The results delivered by glycolic acid skin care products depend on two factors:

Percentage of Glycolic Acid in the product and
Your skin type

Tips to Use Glycolic Treatments

Always do a patch test before starting any glycolic treatments
Don’t forget to use sunscreen with SPF 15 or more. This is because AHA based skin care products make the skin highly sensitive towards sunlight.
Pregnant women or women with highly sensitive skin should avoid these products.

A skincare plan probably makes the ideal pattern of matching acne remedies in a most convenient and health-focused way. The development of cosmetic dermatology facilitates the access to all sorts of treatments with a high range of efficiency. Pharmaceutical products, herbal formulas, light and laser therapy or dermabrasion, all can be discussed in terms of acne remedies and tissue recovery.

Although it seems incredibly simple, water plays an important role in most natural acne treatments since it makes the most convenient way to purge the toxins from the body. If not eliminated the toxins get clogged in the skin, accumulate and create the right environment for the development of bacterial infections. You can also fight against acne by a diet rich in vegetables and fruit, as green food enhances the immune function by the quality nutrients it brings.

From the so-called natural acne remedies, tea tree oil represents the most powerful of solutions by its incredible anti-bacterial properties. Tea tree oil should be applied daily on the clean skin, but only on those parts affected by acne. Other alternatives to tea tree oil include citric juice masks, peppermint oil, almond oil and honey. Each of these variants can be combined with other remedies with the condition to stick to the treatment if once you take it up.

If natural acne remedies do not make a viable solution, and you want something to work overnight, then, oral medication and topical products represent the shortcut. Items that contain salicylic acid, benzyl peroxide and zinc make the most frequent of choices when it comes to dealing with blackheads, whiteheads, pimples or sun-damaged wrinkled skin. Do not take oral medication without talking to a health care provider; antibiotics such as erythromycin and tetracycline are the most often prescribed drugs.

Finally, cosmetic acne remedies enjoy a good popularity level among acne sufferers too. Although there is laser therapy available, facials and chemical peels are still widely encountered in most beauty centers. Blue light is another cosmetic approach to acne, a method that destroys the acne-causing bacteria through a special light wavelength. This kind of acne remedies make excellent but costly solutions for both active acne and acne scars.

One thing is clear, people use a huge number of acne remedies both varied and complex. Some manage to solve their skin problem quickly, while others have to go through a longer fight against this skin invasive condition.

You might not have previously considered cucumber extract as a natural skin care product, but it is gaining in popularity as an increasing number of people are shying away from synthetic commercial preparations as the toxic properties of a growing number of chemicals are being discovered through research.

Even propylene glycol, the antifreeze product, has been used in skin products. This improves the absorption of other ingredients of the product into your skin by rupturing the cell membranes, and leaving your skin open to attack from external toxins including carcinogens. Some of these should not be so much ’skin care’ as ’skin scare’ products.

There are other chemicals present in many skin care products that are used in industrial detergents, because they improve the wettability of the preparation on your skin. Would you rub a detergent into your skin? If not, then why use these products? The answer is simple: ignorance.

Many ingredients lists are so obscure that you won’t recognize what is really contained in the product. Natural substances, such as cucumber extract, don’t have such added ingredients because the natural substances themselves can penetrate your skin without doing the cells any damage. They don’t need synthetic surfactants because they easily wet out on your skin without any external help.

Any chemical that opens up your skin to allow a cosmetic to penetrate it will also allow undesirable bacteria and polluting toxins to enter. These skin penetration agents cannot distinguish between good and bad substances trying to get inside your skin- they are chemicals with no brain!

So, given that we accept that a natural skin care product such as cucumber extract is better for you and your skin than a synthetic one, in what way does it benefit you and why should you use it? It’s all very well using a natural product for the right reasons, but there’s no point if it is going have little effect on your skin.

In fact, most natural products offer more benefits that the synthetics, without the disadvantages of the synthetic on your health in general, and on that of your skin in particular. Many natural products can be used for specific skin problems; cucumber extract is frequently used a salve, used when the skin is irritated by something. This is largely due to its astringent properties that can soothe and relieve dry and puffy skin.

However, it is for its antioxidant and moisturizing properties that it is most used, largely due to its content of Vitamin C, a string antioxidant that protects against exposure to atmospheric pollution, and also its protein and lipid content that offers emollient and moisturizing properties. The astringency revitalizes your skin, the lipids and proteins give a lovely smooth and silky feel and the extract also removes dead skin cells and help to relieve the irritation of acne skin, and prevent the blockage of pores by sebum that leads to acne.

That is not to suggest that cucumber extract is a cure for acne, only that it helps to maintain a healthy skin and can therefore do nothing than help. If your skin feels a bit slack or loose, is looking or feeling a bit worn, and you feel that it could do with a good biochemical makeover, then cucumber extract should be your choice, rather than any of the multitudinous synthetic products on offer.

It’s very important that you know what type of skin you have before treating your acne. Generally speaking, there are three basic skin types. They are normal, dry and oily. However, this does not mean you are prone to having only one of these skin types. You could have a combination of them (e.g. normal to oily or normal to dry). Learning about your skin type will help you determine the most beneficial product to treat your acne.

But how can you determine your skin type? Well, you can try to answer a few basic questions about your skin. For instance, do you have blackheads? Can you say how often you break out? How does your skin feel and look after washing it with soap? How about the look of your pores? Do you have facial lines? If you can get answers to these types of questions you’ll have an idea of what type of skin you have. With this knowledge, you can then decide on the types of products you think will work best for you.

Among the general characteristics each skin type shares are its texture, oil production, and frequency of breakouts. Let’s go over some common characteristics of each skin type so you have a more specific idea about the type of skin you might have.

Dry Skin Type

A dry skin has advantages and disadvantages just like the other two skin types. For instance, people with dry skin do not suffer many breakouts, and almost never have blackheads. The key reason why this is the case is less oil production. Blackheads are caused by oil and it also promotes breakouts by clogging the pores. So, if you are a dry skin type person, then you obviously are not producing very much oil and as such are not subject to suffer a lot from the above-mentioned negative effects.

Some of the disadvantages of having dry skin are nearly visible pores and the feeling of dry and tight skin after washing. In addition, people with dry skin often develop facial lines earlier in life and can suffer from burns much more easily.

Normal Skin Type

Something that characterizes most people with normal skin is the suffering from infrequent breakouts. Furthermore, they can also suffer from blackheads that normally appear in what is called as “the t-zone”, the forehead and the area on either side of the nose. The pores in the t-zone often appear more visible. After washing their skin, people may often feel it tight however; the skin becomes more comfortable with oil in the t-zone.

Other attributes of normal skin include a fair to medium skin coloring and a few lines appearing early on around the eyes for the most part. Exposure to the sun causes this skin type to burn and become tanned afterwards.

Oily Skin Type

An oily skin can cause serious problems, as you might already know. The most common negative effects that people with oily skin often suffer of are frequent breakouts with blackheads. In addition, an oily skin often makes the pores enlarged and after washing the face may be oily, with both the forehead and nose quickly becoming shiny.

Unlike the normal skin coloring, the skin coloring for the oily skin type is often olive to dark. Among the advantages of having an oily skin are the very few to none facial lines that take place, having a skin that generally stays preserved longer. As such, oily skin does not age as quickly as do the other skin types and when exposed to the sun, oily skin rarely burns. It tans easily by the way.

So, there you have it: a quick overview on the three basic skin types. If you think you have determined your skin type, the next step would be to find products developed specifically for it. Fortunately, nowadays there are a number of products on the market for dealing with each skin type, even for a combination skin. Once you find the product that works for your skin type, treatment for your acne will be much more appropriate.
